Vitabath Original Spring Green

A lemming match for Pantone Greenery — Vitabath Moisturizing Bath & Shower Geleé in Original Spring Green, still on the market after all these years. "This moisturizing bath and shower gel features notes of pine, forest flowers and musk to help you recall the fresh essences of the outdoors. Indulge in the original European bath and shower gelee. Immerse yourself in luxurious, billowy bubbles that moisturize and cleanse your skin. You'll feel silky and sensuous to the touch, with a subtle scent to carry you through the day. Invigorate your senses and release your mind with the ethereal aura of Spring Green." $20 for 300g at Ulta.

Lush's Violet Nights Bath Oil has been around for years, and last had a full scale release (that I know of) in 2014. I want it for the name and the color, but it sounds darned good too: "Bask in enchanting baths of sweetly fragrant violet leaf and mystical sandalwood oil. This deep purple bath oil filled with conditioning soya oil provides creamy comfort that leaves skin soft and minds serene. Clouds of cassie oil cast a blackcurranty spell over your mood - sweetly uplifting and nostalgic, while rich Fair Trade vanilla from western Uganda adds exotic notes to the fairytale perfume." Possibly my mood could use a bit of a blackcurranty spell, but unfortunately it's only at the UK Lush Kitchen, where it's about £14 for 245g. (And for anyone else needing a laugh today, they've also got a fresh cleanser called "German Sausage" being sold under the tag line "what's the wurst that could happen?")

I have yet to find a natural deodorant that really works, but I'm tempted by Schmidt's Sensitive Skin Formula Natural Deodorant because Jasmine Tea (and, bergamot+lime, rose+vanilla, lavender+sage, among others). $10.99 for 92g, plant-based with no aluminum, propylene glycol, parabens or phthalates. At Schmidt's.

More from La Société Parisienne de Savons (if you missed it, see yesterday's Le Baume L'Eau de Cologne), and this time, something you can easily buy on my side of the pond: a Violette de Parme bath soap in a pretty, retro-look tin, 250g for $25. A smaller guest soap in a box is $8, a 10g box of dusting powder is $26, and there are also bath salts and liquid soap available. All at Hampton Court.

Not worth shipping from France, I guess, but I'd like one: Le Baume L'Eau de Cologne from La Société Parisienne de Savons, a multipurpose balm for lips or skin. It's made in a base of cocoa butter and lanolin and is available in 12 fragrances including the one shown, at €7 a pop.
