This might hit the spot: Klar's Pinot Noir soap. "One among a line of plant-based soaps, Klar's Pinot Noir Soap is manufactured using natural extracts from the grape cultivar called pinot noir. Famous for both its deep hue and its inclusion in some of the finest wines around the world, the pinot noir lends the soap a pleasing, aromatic scent." $11.75 for 150g at Fendrihan.

Ephemera Soap, by Maak Lab x Ghostly

Today's lemming is courtesy of reader Coumarin (I stole it from Coumarin is probably more accurate): Ephemera Soap, by Maak Lab x Ghostly. "Ghostly has joined forces with Portland-based scent lab Maak Lab to produce a beautifully scented castile soap. Packaged as one, the slab of soap breaks into two perfectly sized bars revealing a cobranded stamp featuring the Ghostly and Maak Lab logos. With notes of balsam, vinyl, geranium, and black pepper, Ephemera is as aromatherapeutic as it is cleansing." The two bar pack is $10 at The Ghostly store.

A perfect summer "first layer"? Diptyque's Do Son Fragrance Mist: "Concentrated in a moisturising white lotus extract, this micro-drop fragrance mist is as vaporous as a sea breeze but leaves no sensation of moistness on the skin. In fact, it has an irresistibly soft, powdery finish. Due to its lightness, it is the ideal fragrance gesture for the summertime, refreshing the skin while moisturising it." $55 for 200 ml.

Are you in need of a beach walk? (I am.) Martin Margiela's new Replica body products in the Beach Walk fragrance include Body Lotion ("This light and moisturizing formula is delicately fragranced with Beach Walk and its fresh, radiant notes of bergamot, coconut milk, lemon, pink pepper and musk, which combine to evoke a familiar but forgotten moment—a walk along a sandy beach."), Dry Body Oil and Shower Gel. At Nordstrom, $45-60.

The power of packaging: I don't even use bath salts, but isn't that a handsome jar? It would look awfully nice on a shelf in my bathroom. Rose Noir Bath Salts from L'Objet ("An invigorating addition to your bathing ritual, featuring Atlantic and Epsom salts, natural extracts, and dried botanicals...The bath salts are enriched with the scent of Rose Noir, a velvety mix of exotic roses, delicately contrasted by Ceylon tea. This sumptuous, floral blend is shaded with hints of white pepper, pimento berry, and moss...To ensure lasting potency, the formulations are contained in UV-blocking, black violet glass.") $60 for 500 ml at Aedes.
