The daily lemming

I don't want this, but maybe you do? Lush's Naked Shower Gel, which is a shower gel in a solid form. Wait, you say, isn't that bar soap? No, says Lush, but they need a wall of words to explain — how will that go over in the brick 'n mortar stores? It's shown above in one of my favorite scents, Happy Hippy, and I still would rather have it in the jar, even if the jar wastes plastic and then the plastic is in my fish and who knows where else.

If you want one, it's £9.25 for 240g at Lush's UK Kitchen. There is also Naked Rose Jam (!) and a bunch of other "naked" products from deodorant to body conditioner to a handwash called "Solid Liquid Soap". Props to Lush for making us all think about wasteful packaging, anyway.

Moroccanoil Body Soufflé Trio

We featured the bar soap earlier this month, and now Moroccanoil has released a limited edition Body Soufflé Trio: "Indulge your senses with a lightweight whip of argan oil and shea butter. Each moisturizer in this hydrating, three-piece collection improves skin’s elasticity and strengthens the skin barrier, without a greasy feel." $48 for three 45 ml tubs in Originale, Fleur D'Oranger and Fleur De Rose, at Sephora.

A scented soap that looks like a perfume bottle, from Amsterdam-based designer Liza Witte. You didn't know you needed one, right? Now you know. "A Collection of finely handcrafted perfume bottles sculptured in black soap. These finely crafted objects serve as room fragrance and nourishing soap, each subtly revealing its presence as it releases its lush delicate scent or becomes a lavish body wash as it slowly melts away." They are available in a number of shapes and scents; shown is Silhouette No. 15: "A lush and sensuous blend of orange blossom and deliciously ripe oranges, peppered with spicy clove. Rich, warm and fruity flavors evoke memories of a sunny autumn morning in a Tuscany garden." Handmade to order, €90 (oops!) at Liza Witte, found via The Artisan Fragrance Salon at Facebook.

Tabac Original Bath & Shower Gel

An old-school classic for the shower: Tabac Original Bath & Shower Gel from Mäurer & Wirtz (see Kevin's review of the fragrance here). "Envelop yourself in the freshness of Tabac's Bath + Shower Gel. It gently cleanses without drying your skin out. pH skin neutral formula keeps your skin balanced. Infused with the classic Tabac Original fragrance, which is a composed of peppery-spicy notes and elegantly rounded off by wood notes, musk, ambergris and a floral complex." $14.95 for 400 ml at Smallflower.
