I would not have thought to wear the perfume to attract or to feel virile as most other brands attempt. I would have worn it to feel comfort. I remember it smelt like a skin to me; leathery, woody and not the usual ingredients that define a perfume. Often, I sprayed it randomly and not only on my skin, but also on clothes.

The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, Cairo, is reviving the history of perfume in ancient Egyptian civilization through a temporary exhibition titled "Perfumes of Ancient Egypt Through the Ages," which will last for about three months. The exhibition aims to shed light on the perfume industry in ancient Egypt, its various uses, different compositions, and the rituals associated with it.
Organized in collaboration with Paul Valéry University Montpellier 3 in France, the dlaboratory [sic] Apis Archimedes, and the hieroglyphic language foundation Herolcix, the exhibition showcases a collection of artifacts related to perfumes.

The rise of marshmallow scents marks a subtle shift within the category, moving away from overtly edible signatures and towards a more ethereal and cozy interpretation of sweetness. It’s an innovation that’s satiating the growing (and very hungry) gourmand consumer; according to Spate, searches for “foodie fragrances” are up 139.6 percent year-on-year.
“Unlike the richness of caramel or the intensity of chocolate, marshmallow delivers a light, fluffy sweetness that beautifully balances nostalgia with sophistication,” says DSM-Firmenich perfumer Gabriela Chelariu.
