The daily lemming

Another reasonably priced cleaning product I have not tried (please comment if you have): Citrus & Basil All Purpose Cleaner from Everspring. "We believe a cleaner home begins with Everspring All Purpose Cleaner. It is biobased and cuts grease and grime on multiple surfaces without ammonia or harsh fumes. Made without parabens and naturally fragranced with plant extracts and essential oils, this biodegradable formula is non-toxic to humans when used as directed and never tested on animals. Our products are made with you, your home and family in mind." $2.99 at Target. (And Target apparently owns the brand, you can read more about it here.)

I didn't even notice that (reasonably priced) hair and body care brand Love Beauty and Planet has a home line now — Love Home and Planet, of course. Shown are two of the items in the Citrus Yuzu + Vanilla line, the dish liquid ($3.99) and the cleaner spray ($3.99), both available at Target. Other items: cleaning wipes, dishwasher cubes. The brand also has laundry products, but not in this scent.

I am still lemming that darned Salta candle and here is another limited edition I could live with: the Cire candle. "The Cire scented candle is an olfactory representation of the manufacture: symbolic, it blends emanations of warm wax and perfumes being crafted. Reinterpreting Cire Trudon’s fundamental values - ancient savoir-faire and commitment to excellence - the scented candle reveals a unique perfume: behind the amber-colored glass, a beeswax absolute. Bees and beeswax have always been at the heart of the manufacture’s History: since the 17th century, Cire Trudon’s motto is “Deo regique laborant”, which means: “they (the bees) work for God and the King”. 2019 marks a turning point for the Maison, as Cire Trudon decided to financially help the Orne Dark Bee Conservatory, with the partnership of the Perche Nature Park. 4 percent of all sales of the Maison’s Cire candle will go toward the saving of Orne Dark Bees." $125.

Mostly, I want this jar: the Coconut & Palm candle from Nest. "Crushed coconut and sparkling bergamot are mingled with rich amber over a base of vanilla-infused musk. No passport necessary: Transport yourself to balmy beaches and sparkling shoreside sunsets with our new tropical-inspired Summer `Scape Collection. The essence of a chill getaway, this collection features brightly decorated ceramic vessels in unique hexagonal shapes, bringing vacation vibes to your everyday. These beautiful vessels feature original artwork inspired by indigenous designs." Limited edition, and also available in Hibiscus & Dragon Fruit (pink and orange) and Pineapple & Driftwood (yellow, orange and blue). $46 at Saks Fifth Avenue; the matching diffusers are $52.

It seems likely I've included this in a gift post before, but I've never bought one. Maybe I should? It even looks cheerful. Have any of you ever owned a Carthusia candle? The Mediterraneo scented candle is available in 2 sizes, 70g and 190g. The 190g size is $56 at Bigelow Chemists.
