Marking as something I would not need even if was a bargain (hint, it's not) but that just looks sort of cool: a woven leather candle basket from Loewe. "Echoing the tactile finishes of LOEWE’s iconic bags, the Candle Basket features a woven basket and hanging strap crafted in durable tan leather." $965 (ack) at Loewe, where I am still hankering after the beetroot and tomato leaves candles.

From Etiket in Canada, the Les Lilas du Voisin candle: "When you take your morning walk, you always turn left. Maybe it’s habit, or maybe it’s the avalanche of lilacs erupting from your neighbour’s yard, pulling you eternally in that direction. This is the smell of the few blossoms you steal from those branches, glancing furtively at their front window before dashing away. With notes of lilac, airy muguet, and a touch of freshly tilled garden soil, light this candle to feel like a kid again. Walk fast and inhale greedily." $68 for 350g.

Want, want, want, but don't need and not going to buy: the Ma Poule incense box & censer from Carron (the ceramics brand of Mathilde Carron-Astier de Villatte, one of the co-founders of Astier de Villatte, and her husband). "A funny hen placed on an incense box which will best preserve your delicate scent sticks, protected from light and humidity. You can place & burn your incense sticks on its beak." $160 at The More The Happier in Los Angeles.

From Obakki in Canada, an incense gift set: "We think these incense burners are the answer to all your incense needs - with a deep bowl that you can fill with sand or pebbles to create a heat resistant base and a high back wall that acts as a windbreak, these stunning pieces can do it all. Made OF Australia's signature series of functional stoneware ceramics - twice fired, once to full vitrification for durability and longevity, then again while sealed in special containers (called saggars) with native Australian flora and organics from indigenous fauna (organic materials like snakeskin, emu and crocodile eggshell, and goose feathers etc.)." Comes with a Waboku incense sampler ("The Hinoki (cypress) is a calm and soothing aroma, the Keyaki (delvoka) is a sweet and exotic scent, uplifting -- and the Kusonoki (camphor tree) is uplifting and powerful.") $131 USD.

A new(ish) home fragrance from Thymes: Magnolia Willow. The countertop spray ("Biodegradable cleansing agents and extracts of fennel and parsley effectively clean, while this airy fragrance inspires joy with dewy magnolia blossoms, sheer mandarin, crushed jasmine leaves, and white mahogany") is $16 for 448, and there are also candles, diffusers, hand soap, linen spray, wood cleaner, etc etc.
