From Lalique, the 2021 crystal limited edition of Lalique de Lalique, Pivoine. “A truly impressive piece of crystal-making, “Pivoine” magnifies both the strength and grace of the flower. The peony’s blooming corolla forms the rounded body of the flacon. Its gently curved petals seem carved out of the satin-finish crystal, as though they were gouged from a rock by a sculptor. The edges and fine veins of each petal, in transparent crystal, enhance the refined floral motif, revealing the tender nuance of Lalique de Lalique Parfum, a blushing shade of peony pink. Like a delicate drop of dew crowning the heart of the flower, the satin crystal rounded stopper rises from the flacon’s neck. In the tradition of haute perfumery, each piece is sealed with a baudruchage and a gold thread around the collar.” 150 ml Parfum, $1800. (You can find a list of past editions here.)

For Acqua di Parma Colonia fans, the Edizione Speciale: "Every bottle is made with the expertise of skilled artisans on the Murano island of Venice, home to generations of the most expert craftsmen in glass art. Luminous stars adorn the glass, the result of a precise manual engraving technique with a diamond tip, giving the end product both a tactile and visionary sensorial experience. Each element is carefully decorated and embellished with 12K white gold leaves, lending a soft and opulent touch to the decor that emulates shining stars. A soft gold leaf plaque completes this detailed and refined work of art." $550 for 180 ml at Saks Fifth Avenue.

A fragrance that makes you want to discover all the facets of the skin." Ambre Sauvage Absolu, €170 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
