Roger & Gallet's Jean Marie Farina, possibly the world's first Eau de Cologne (or maybe not) has never been my absolute favorite, but wouldn't this 500 ml splash bottle look lovely in the bathroom? $250 at Smallflower.

As long as we're catching up (a bit — I am pretty sure I've missed way more) on Caron today, here is the Les Colognes Caron collection, introduced last summer ("Exuberant sillages, rich compositions, daring statements... When CARON attaches its name to the world of Colognes, it shakes up the codes ! Who said fresh scents had to be fleeting? Our perfumer Jean JACQUES has defied every archetype, designing five fragrances that are both powerful and invigorating"), with five fragrances (left to right, L'Invitation Au Voyage, L'Invisible Qui Luit, Champ Bleu Du Ciel, Ivre De Liberté and L'Heure Vagabonde) in gorgeous engraved bottles, apparently only available in their Paris boutique. If you want one, you have to call or stop by. I have no idea what they cost, but I'm sure I'll take the lot.

In case you didn't like the decoration on the other limited edition bottle of Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede, here's the version at Saks: "Peonies in voluptuous bloom, exquisitely fragile. Flirtatious with the juicy bite of red apple and the opulence of jasmine, rose and gilyflower. Mingling with the sensuality of soft, blush suede." $145 for 100 ml.
