Friday scent of the day 2/28

It’s Friday and the last day of February, plus National Chocolate Souffle Day. Birthdays: Linus Pauling, Frank Gehry and Bernadette Peters. And here comes the sun! Our community project for today: wear a fragrance with a solar or “sun-warmed skin” note.

Friday scent of the day 2/21

Happy Friday and happy International Mother Language Day. Birthdays: Anaïs Nin, WH Auden, Nina Simone, John Lewis, Alan Rickman. Our community project for today: we’re doing Bucket List Friday…think of a place you’d like to go or a thing you’d like to do or something you’d like to accomplish, and wear the right fragrance for the experience.

What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.

I used to have something like a proper bucket list, mostly places I wanted to go before I die. I don’t really think in those terms anymore, that is, I still wouldn’t mind going to those places, but I don’t particularly think it would make me any happier. At the moment what I’d like to accomplish is to meditate more, and be at peace with what I have (I have mostly stopped buying perfume but I have plenty of other avenues for stress shopping). So I went with a calming fragrance: Diptyque Tam Dao…
