I’m in Gobin Daudé Sève Exquise, from a bottle that is not quite in perfect condition. I don’t know that it is really a unicorn, but I wouldn’t own it if I hadn’t found it half price at Takashimaya in New York. Now Gobin Daudé and Takashimaya are both gone.

I’m in a dab of Serge Lutens A La Nuit. The closest things to unicorns that I have are scents that I would not or could not pay full price for, and that kind people either gave me as gifts, or purchased on my behalf somewhere where they could be found cheaper. A La Nuit was purchased for me years ago by Bela (some of you may remember her, she used to comment here regularly), who found it half price in London.

It’s Tuesday and Pinot Noir Day. Happy 84th birthday to Robert Redford! What fragrance are you wearing?
I am 99% better, but I’m taking one more day perfume-free after feeling sick on Sunday. Tea at the moment is a mixed blend of Upton black tea samples that I’m trying to use up, brewed with a sprinkle of cardamom.

I am commando. I was sick yesterday (and did get a Covid-19 test in the afternoon), and am taking it easy today even though I feel much better.
