I’m in Berdoues Assam of India, which a kind reader sent me after I kept going on about the bottle — elephants! And the fragrance, while not genius, is a great summer citrus-tea refresher, perfect for pretending you’re not facing a day of thunderstorms.

I’m commando for a mammogram later today, but after that, the plan is Cartier Baiser Volé, which a kind reader swapped me for the bottle of Cartier La Panthère that I had bought unsniffed and did not love.
