Friday scent of the day 4/29

Happy Friday and happy International Dance Day! Birthdays: Duke Ellington and Willie Nelson. Our community project for today is Picture Challenge, edition 7: Hilma af Klint, The Ten Largest. Wear a perfume that matches the picture(s) of your choice from this series that depicts the stages of life. (There is lots more information on this challenge here.)

Tuesday scent of the day 4/26

It’s (teapot-less, since we are powering through with Hilma af Klint) Tuesday, plus World Intellectual Property Day. Birthdays: Eugène Delacroix, Frederick Law Olmsted, Ma Rainey, IM Pei, Carol Burnett. What fragrance are you wearing?

I’m in Hermès Kelly Caleche (Eau de Toilette) for Hilma af Klint, The Ten Largest, No. 5 and 6, the first of the four paintings which represent adulthood. With no real justification, I think of these two as your late 20s into your late 40s: adult, sure, but maybe not yet creaky knees and whatnot? Tea at the moment is my chilly weather blend of Season’s Pick Assam GFOP Organic from Upton + cacao husk + milk + nutmeg.
