Right now I’m trying to let go of my anger after a 1 hour call with the customer service people at my internet service provider. The fragrance to keep me from blowing my top: Aftelier Candide. (Seriously, as soon as I sprayed it on I felt better.)

It’s Almost-Friday and Beer Day Britain, plus Global Wind Day. Birthdays: Erroll Garner, Waylon Jennings, Harry Nilsson. RIP Glenda Jackson and Robert Gottlieb. What fragrance are you wearing?

I’m in Terre d’Hermès, for the slight suggestion of gunpowder (to me, anyway) in the mineral note. One of the places we love to bike and hike is the Hagley Museum complex on the Brandywine Creek outside of Wilmington, originally the site of the Eleutherian Mills gunpowder works.
