Something that smells antique

Posted by Robin on 14 March 2022 39 Comments

While you don't want your perfume to smell too young, you also don't want it to smell too old. "Something that smells antique leans more toward overtly mature, reminding us of a 'grandma's' fragrance," says Fitz. "Women today do not act or merely resemble what 65-year-old women of the past looked like. They are bold, confident, and embrace their age and femininity."

A bargain, no doubt, at €10,000. Below the jump, a close up…

Are they scented? Who knows, but they're Lipstick Bears, how can you resist? They must smell like something? 001 Calinours is blue and "changes to a different shade of pink on each person", 002 Pupuce is a "pretty coral shade". $29 each at Paul & Joe (although I am not seeing the blue one in the US).

Play-Doh's Grown Up Scents pack is back in stock at Amazon, but it does not look like they'd be delivered before December, so be warned. Anyway, six 113g tubs of Play-Doh, in Overpriced Latte (coffee); Mom Jeans (clean denim); Grill King (smoked meats); Dad Sneakers (rubber); Spa Day (floral); and Lord of the Lawn (fresh cut grass). $12.
