I don’t take Palativm too seriously when it says its line of bath foams and oils was inspired by the bathing culture of ancient Rome. Ancient Romans were a pretty dirty (and smelly) bunch, and Roman public baths, no matter the opulence of their construction and decoration, were bacteria factories that made lots of people ill. I’m betting modern bathers wouldn’t find the ritual sweating-oiling-skin scraping sessions the ancient Romans endured very refreshing either.
Palativm Replenishing Foams are modern takes on the “Roman” bath; they contain Tuscan olive oil, chamomile, aloe vera and Vitamin C ester. (Vitamin C is good for skin, inside and on your body, but it’s not effective in bath products since it’s destined for the drain.) I’ve tried and enjoyed Palativm’s three bath foams…
