The daily lemming

And the masculine counterpart to yesterday: Method Men's Body Wash, shown in Juniper + Sage and Cedar + Cypress, and also available in Sea + Surf. "Our men's body wash can handle your dirty sides. Each naturally derived formula lathers quickly, rinses clean and leaves you smelling fresh. because life is complicated enough, showering doesn't have to be." A dollar less than the women's — what's with that? — at about $6 for 532 ml, at Target.

Method Body Wash in Deep Detox (cucumber, seaweed and green tea) or Energy Boost (citrus, ginger and sea buckthorn). "Turn your shower into the kind of escape you need right now. Whether you want pure peace, an energy boost, a deep detox or some simple nourishment, each naturally derived formula features a trio of nutrient-rich ingredients and a scent that's sure to set the mood. No parabens. No phthalates. No bad vibes." About $7 each for 532 ml, at Target. Also available in Pure Peace (peony, rosewater and pink sea salt) and Simply Nourish (coconut, rice milk and shea butter), or in matching 370g bar soaps for about $4 each.

Unilever's latest bid for the attentions of the Millennial consumer, Love Beauty & Planet, has caught my (not-Millennial) eye with some not-bad-sounding-at-all fragrances. Shown is the brand's Body Wash, in Coconut & Ylang Ylang and Murumuru Butter & Rose; other fragrances include Tea Tree & Vetiver, Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower, Argan Oil & Lavender and Shea Butter & Sandalwood. In addition to the shower gel, there are hair products (including a dry shampoo), scrubs and a "Showerless Cleansing Mist". The brand should be at mass market stores by January.

From Boy Smells, a Trio Votive Set with Kush, Ash and Cedar Stack candles. “This trio is near and dear to Boy Smells’ heart – they are the very first three smells Boy Smells created.” (Kush is cannabis, suede, white musk, tulip and amber; Ash is firewood, smoke, charcoal, palo santo and hay; Cedar Stack is cedar, labdanum, juniper berry, sawdust and white musk.) Three 85g candles for $42 at Luckyscent…
