Aromatic fried garlic-like scent

Posted by Robin on 27 July 2018 Leave a Comment

The scent diffuser will dispense aromatic fried garlic-like scent to mirror the stir-fry flavour of popular local dishes.

Samples are slotted into capsules which are dispensed from the machine through a smart technology activation via EZ-LINK and CPAS card. By tapping the card, consumers can collect and walk away with the free “Knorr Hao Chi” capsule samples. Each capsule comes with a dedicated one-dish recipe that educates consumers on the product usage and more recipes are available by scanning the QR code on the machine.

The aroma

The first thing you notice is the aroma. The ad is printed with lavender ink, because the scent is “known to relax muscles, slow down your heartbeat and improve sleep quality,” according to the ad copy. But most dramatically, you can remove the ad, fold out some tabs, plug the whole thing into a USB to charge, and then use it next to your bed as a white noise speaker.

Essence of Lincoln

Posted by Robin on 15 August 2014 7 Comments

Designed to be dispersed through the ventilation system, the Essence of Lincoln is a fragrance that has hints of green tea, jasmine and tonka. The company says the scent exudes "luxury and warmth" and will help to create an "upscale, relaxing showroom experience." The scent should also mask the 'old people smell' as Lincoln has one of the highest average owner ages in the industry.

A syrupy sweet perfume

Posted by Robin on 6 February 2014 2 Comments

Of all the things that stood out at Prabal Gurung’s show last year - the clear plastic curtain, the satiny pencil skirts, the mannequinlike models - fashion editors still recall the one thing they could not see: the smell. The runway show, which took place at the Skylight at Moynihan Station, was scented with a syrupy sweet perfume, which had some in the front row holding their noses.
