It might just be my imagination, and a feeling of tentative hope that my city has come through the worst of the pandemic, but the roses in my neighbors’ front yards and the local parks seem lusher than ever this year. From Santa Maria Novella, Dentifricio Fior d'Iris / Iris toothpaste: "Toothpaste with a fresh aromatic flavor. It contains ireos powder, known since antiquity for its astringent and abrasive properties. The aroma of costmary gives the toothpaste a singular, minty-spicy taste while refreshing and deodorizing the mouth." Can you taste the iris? Is it delicious?
