Lazy weekend poll ~ open thread, Ostara Eve 2016

Posted by Robin on 19 March 2016 265 Comments

Purple Hyacinths

Quick PSA: the 2016 Prix Eau Faux is still open! (And apologies for running the same image 2 weeks in a row — I’m having some computer issues at the moment. I may replace it later.)

Today, our usual weekend open thread poll: talk about anything you like — the perfume you’re wearing today, the perfume you’re hoping to find a sample of soon, whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

Purple Hyacinths

Quick PSAs: the meetup poll is still open for anyone who’d like to connect with local perfumistas! We’ve also opened the 2016 Prix Eau Faux, and our next swapmeet will be two weeks from today, on 19 March.

Today, our standard weekend open thread poll: talk about anything you like — the perfume you’re wearing today, the perfume you’ve been reaching for lately to pretend it’s spring (or fall, depending on where you live) already, whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

Candy Heart

Quick reminder: the splitmeet is coming up next Saturday, with the swapmeet to follow in March and the reverse swapmeet in April.

On the 27th of this month, we’re going to try something new suggested by Regina: a separate thread to arrange local meetups. If that goes well we’ll make that a regular feature.

Today, our same old open thread poll: talk about anything you like — the perfume you’re wearing today, the perfume you wish you’d get as a Valentine’s Day present, whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

Lazy weekend poll ~ open thread, late January 2016

snow drop times 2

A quick PSA: our next splitmeet will be coming up on February 20. A swapmeet will follow in March. I am considering adding a reverse swapmeet in April, where readers can post about the items they are looking for and what they’d be willing to offer in return. You might be looking for a mule to purchase something you can’t get your hands on, or a specific sample or decant, etc and etc. Do comment if you have any interest or concerns!

Today, our usual open thread poll: talk about anything you like — the perfume you’re wearing today, the perfume you wish you’d hoarded while you still had the chance, whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…
