Lazy weekend poll ~ open thread, International Museum Day 2019

Posted by Robin on 18 May 2019 187 Comments

We’re celebrating International Museum Day (and Tina Fey’s birthday) with our standard issue open thread poll. Talk about anything you like — the fragrance you’re wearing today, the flowers that are blooming in your town right now, whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

Lazy weekend poll ~ open thread, early May 2019

Posted by Robin on 4 May 2019 291 Comments

A quick PSA: our annual Haiku challenge is next Saturday, and we have a freebiemeet coming up next month on June 8.

Meantime, our usual open thread poll, May The Fourth Be With You / Cinco de Mayo edition. Talk about anything you like — the fragrance you’re wearing today, the fragrance you're thinking will be your go-to this summer (or winter, as the case may be), whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

It’s Thomas Jefferson Day (and Butch Cassidy’s birthday too). We’re marking all the occasions with our usual weekend open thread poll. Talk about anything you like — the fragrance you’re wearing today, the fragrance you’re thinking of pre-ordering soon, whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

Posted by Robin on 30 March 2019 260 Comments

Saturday is Doctors’ Day and Pencil Day and Vincent Willem van Gogh’s birthday, and Sunday is Eiffel Tower Day and Cesar Chavez Day and a bunch of other birthdays, including Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol and Christopher Walken. (Oh, and a quick reminder that Donatella will be dropping by for a visit on Tuesday.)

We’re celebrating it all with our same old open thread poll. Talk about anything you like — the fragrance you’re wearing today, your favorite pencil shavings fragrance, whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…
