Lazy weekend poll ~ open thread, mid April 2022

Posted by Robin on 9 April 2022 129 Comments

PSA: the swapmeet is coming up on the 23rd of this month.

Meanwhile, Saturday is Unicorn Day and Sunday is Siblings Day. We’re celebrating it all with our usual open thread poll. Talk about anything you like — the fragrance you’re wearing today, the fragrance your sibling wears (if you have a sibling), whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

Lazy weekend poll ~ open thread, early April 2022

Posted by Robin on 2 April 2022 259 Comments

It’s April, and don’t forget that Donatella will be stopping by on Monday! (And, look out for the swapmeet on the 23rd.)

We’re marking the new month (and National Poetry Month!) with our same old open thread poll. Talk about anything you like — the fragrance you’re wearing today, your favorite winter-to-spring (or summer-to-fall) transitional fragrance, whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

Lazy weekend poll ~ open thread, International Day of Happiness 2022

Posted by Robin on 19 March 2022 161 Comments

Saturday is National Corn Dog Day. Sunday is the first day of Spring plus the International Day of Happiness, UN French Language Day, World Sparrow Day, and Fred McFeely Rogers‘ birthday.

(PSA: if you need another reason to celebrate the International Day of Happiness, reader Glannys, along with her mom and her cat, is safely out of Ukraine. A group of fellow perfumistas is going to see what they can do to help her get established in Malmö. If you’d like to be part of the effort, you can get added to the list by contacting Elisa P at Instagram or via email.)

We’re celebrating everything with our usual open thread poll. Talk about anything you like — the fragrance you’re wearing today, the fragrance that always makes you feel happy, whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

Lazy (3-day) weekend poll ~ open thread, early March 2022

Posted by Robin on 5 March 2022 331 Comments

(PSA: we are leaving on vacation. Sunday and Monday will be travel days, then I’ll be back on Tuesday, but posting will be less reliable than usual until I’m home on the 16th.)

Meanwhile, Saturday is National Absinthe Day, Sunday is The Day of the Dude and Monday is the start, maybe, of National Procrastination Week. Talk about anything you like — the fragrance you’re wearing today, your favorite fragrance to wear while you avoid doing what needs doing, whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

Lazy weekend poll ~ open thread, late February 2022

Posted by Robin on 26 February 2022 364 Comments

It’s the weekend, and there are 22 days left until the March equinox. We’re whiling away the time with our usual open thread poll. Talk about anything you like — the fragrance you’re wearing today, the fragrance you’ll put away when the seasons change, whatever.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…
