Hermès Tailor-Made Nomad

From Hermès, the Tailor-Made Nomad set: $118 for the four 15 ml perfumes of your choice. The selection in France is a bit better than the selection in the US at the moment, but hopefully we’ll get more choices eventually. At Hermès, where they also have the similar Hermessence quartet for $156. At Nordstrom, you can find a miniatures set with 7.5 ml bottles of Jour d’Hermès Absolu, Eau des Merveilles, Voyage d’Hermès and Un Jardin sur le Nil for $60…

Revlon Parfumerie ~ scented nail polish

Revlon has launched Revlon Parfumerie, a new line (although not their first) of scented nail polishes. There are 24 scented colors ranging from Wild Violets to Sunlit Grass to Italian Leather to Pink Pineapple to Surf Spray to African Tea Rose. The scent is apparently not evident until the polish is dry on nails…

Creative Nail Design Solar Speed SprayI used to pay almost no attention to my nails. I’d occasionally trim and file them, but going beyond that to apply nail polish seemed like way too much hassle. It’s not that I didn’t love adding a little color to my tips, I just hated the application process: the chemical smell of the polish, the even worse smell of polish remover (and its incredibly irritating habit of drying out my skin) and the enormous amount of patience it seemed to take for everything to fully dry.

The wait, in fact, was probably the most aggravating part, and no matter how long I gave my nails to dry or what topcoat I used, I always seemed to smudge my manicure irreparably by doing something innocuous like opening the door, changing the channel, or even just going to bed…
