We added extra spring and fall viewing polls last year, and then did another this spring (in olden times we only did one in the winter) because so many people were consuming more television during the Covid-19 pandemic. Now that the pandemic is shifting to endemic, do we still need extra viewing polls? You tell me. We’re having one today regardless, and I was thinking we would repeat the fall listening poll in a week or so? Feedback is encouraged.

Happy Sitcom Friday! Our community project for today: name a favorite sitcom, and wear a fragrance that reminds you of the show in general, or one of the characters.
What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.
I’m wearing Calvin Klein ck one for Community, which I tried but failed to like several times before it took (or, before I watched enough episodes to get it). It is also true that for me, it’s much easier to fall for a sitcom when it’s already over and I don’t have to watch it on network television, one episode a week, with commercials and all. We are currently in the middle of Season 3, and at the moment, it easily makes my list of all time top 5 favorite sitcoms…
The film is divisive; the fragrance less so. Tuesday afternoon, my mum drops by to see the grandkids. She likes the scent, too. She says that it has pleasant notes. The six-year-old, meanwhile, can barely leave it alone. He demands that I spray the air by his head so that he can jump back and forth through the mist, just as he does with the sprinkler in the park. He reeks of Persona, but is that such a bad thing? It’s herby, it’s lavender. It smells like the sea.
