I have only been on vacation a few days, and I've already managed to lose track of what day it is…so here is the Monday mail, one day late. This week's subject is Namita, who comments here as Nam. Here is what we know about Namita:

She's a college student in her early 20s.

She is multilingual and lives in a big city.

She goes out clubbing frequently, but also considers herself to be “fairly serious” for her age.

Namita loves classical music/old school and alternative hiphop/jazz.

Namita is looking for an evening fragrance, and specifically, she wants to find something “louder” than what she usually wears…

The Monday Mail ~ help Ksenia find a new perfume

This week's subject is Ksenia, who has been sampling like mad this year but finding that her “success rate” is not so hot: she's yet to sample a perfume that she'd like to buy in a full size. She wants to find something “interesting and special”, and was hoping we could give her some assistance in planning her next sample orders from Aedes and Beautyhabit.

Here is what we know about Ksenia:

She is in her 30s and has one young child.

She lives in Northern California, where it is dry much of the time and there are only minimal seasonal changes in the weather.

She describes her personal style as “fairly subdued”; she is not looking to “make a statement” with her clothes or her perfume.

She looks best in cool tones, and is also drawn to “cool” fragrances…

Our subject this week is Zoe, who describes herself as a “recent convert to the wonderful world of fragrance”. Zoe is looking for a sultry, “sexy-but-not-headache-inducing evening perfume”, and would like some help. Here are some more details about Zoe:

Zoe is Dutch and in her 20s, and attending college.

She's tall and slender, bookish, and somewhat introverted.

She is “stylish but never one for the high-end brands”, has an “edgy” short haircut and several black-and-white floral tattoos.

Zoe has been exploring perfume seriously for a couple months…

Yes, we're a day late! Julie is our victim of the week. Julie is looking for a new signature fragrance to replace her long-time love, Calvin Klein Obsession. What we know about Julie:

Julie is in her 40s and happily married.

She leads a busy, active life, including a full-time job plus a part-time job reviewing restaurants for her local paper. She also designs jewelry, and is caring for her mother who has terminal cancer.

Julie loves shoes, handbags & clothes, but tends to save her money for other things. She is willing to splurge on the right perfume though!

Julie wore Obsession for many years, then after having surgery 8 years ago, it never smelled the same to her…

She describes herself as “fun and a little off-beat”, and “stylish and worldly”.
