Perfume meet & greet: Paris Hilton in LA

Paris Hilton will be at Kitson on Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 27 from 12-2 pm to introduce her latest fragrance, Can Can. Purchase the 100 ml Eau de Parfum and 6.7 oz Body Lotion (total: $83) to get "front of the line access". A portion of the proceeds will benefit Children's Hospital. (via kitson)

Fred Segal in Santa Monica is a large indoor mall consisting of independent fashion boutiques catering to the most trend-conscious shoppers. Among those boutiques, you’ll find Studio at Fred Segal, bursting with the trendiest fragrance and beauty delights, and a slice of heaven for perfumistas. Studio at Fred Segal is owned by Robin Coe-Hutshing (the founder of Burn candles and the Memoire Liquide lines, among others).

Fragrance brands: Naturally my visit was concerned with the vast array of scented products. There seemed to be no end to the variety of brands available — L’Artisan Parfumeur, Serge Lutens, Comptoir Sud Pacifique, Ineke, Mona D’Orio, Ellie D, Burn, Sage Machado, Vie Luxe, Mark Birley, Penhaligon’s, i Profumi di Firenze, Tocca, ElizabethW, and dozens more…

Annette Green Perfume Museum re-opens in Los Angeles

The Annette Green Perfume Museum, originally located at the Fragrance Foundation in New York, has re-opened at the Fashion Institute of Design & Mer­chandising in downtown Los Angeles:

The collection spans more than a century and includes perfume bottles from more than 165 international fragrance houses ranging from the unusual, like an antique De Vigny perfume called Le Golliwogg, to the most well known: Chanel, Lanvin, Ralph Lauren, Estée Lauder and Dolce & Gabbana…
