The daily lemming

From Thymes, the Fresh-cut Basil Sink Set: "Conveniently packaged and perfect for gifting, ceramic Sink Set caddy includes Fresh-cut Basil Hand Wash and Hand Lotion. Clean and invigorating, this scent cultivates a backyard herb garden indoors in any season. Deeply cleansing without drying out skin, Hand Wash formula contains vegetable protein and extracts of lemon balm leaf and parsley that removes odors and creates a clean, fragrant lather on hands. Hand Lotion is rich in emollients, and leaves skin soft and smooth through shea butter, aloe, and extracts of fennel seed, parsley and lemon balm." 266ml x 2, $34 at Thymes.

Method's latest limited edition collaboration features the work of artist Lisa Congdon. There are two gel hand washes: Wild Dewberry (above left; "this fruity fragrance is bursting with juicy notes of sun-ripened dewberries + red raspberries") and Soft Vanilla (above right; "cozy + slightly rosy with soft notes of vanilla bean and sandalwood. not too sweet. not too fierce. just right."), about $3.50 each at Target.

A bit spendy, but tempting: liquid hand soaps from Kerzon. Shown are Fleur Bleue ("Fresh and aromatic, Fleur Bleue ensures a soothing clean thanks to subtle notes of lavender and bergamot") and Feuilles d'Eucalyptus ("This fresh scent leaves you feeling energized thanks to its aroma filled with notes of mint and eucalyptus"), $32 each for 500 ml at Nordstrom, and they also have a Fleur de Géranium ("Fleur de Géranium promises a moment of softness and relaxation thanks to notes of rose and geranium") for the same price.

Possibly a repeat because I know I have looked at these before: South of France body products in Orange Blossom Honey ("Infused with the aroma of freshly-made Provençal honey enriched with the essence of orange blossoms"). Bar soap, liquid hand soap and foaming hand soap, under $4 each at Vitacost.

Aha, who knew I could run through so much hand sanitizer? A possible addition to my collection, although I don't know if the alcohol level is high enough: Aesop's Resurrection Rinse-Free Hand Wash, with mandarin, rosemary and cedar. "An alcohol-based hand wash to cleanse and refresh. The perfect, pocket-sized product to ensure perpetually clean hands. When fresh water is unavailable, this gentle formula will kill bacteria and combat contagions, simultaneously delivering moisturising agents to ensure hands aren't stripped of moisture. The essential companion for those who travel by public transport." 50 ml for $10 at Luckyscent.
