In case you have plenty of extra cash lying about this holiday, just screaming for a purpose, here's the D-Air diffuser from Dior: "Born from a collaboration between the excellence of La Collection Privée Christian Dior's savoir-faire and the technological expertise of the French brand Compoz Paris, the D-Air fragrance diffuser is a singular object, a genuine manifesto of beauty with a pure and contrasting design. Intuitive to use, it features a simple refill system, a one-touch start, and an ajustable diffusion time. This exceptional piece works with capsules that diffuse the olfactory notes of Thé Osmanthus, Ambre Nuit, Oud Supreme, Jardin d'Orangers and Figue Méditerranée." $2900. I think it includes the 5 fragrance capsules but I'm not sure and hey, what's the difference. Refill capsules are $95 each or $475 for the set of 5.

From Atkinson's, the Rum & Chestnut Duet candle: "Rum & Chestnut Duet is a glorious concoction of ingredients designed to conjure up images of flaming rum-soaked puddings, burning log fires, and of course, the comforting aroma of roasted chestnuts. Joining the sensory party are notes of frankincense and cedarwood for a spicy, smoky, ever-so-slightly sweet, and dare we say exotic fragrance that most definitely packs a (rum) punch. Inspired by two of winter’s most suggestive aromas, Rum & Chestnut Duet is an unconventional fragrance that is earthy and smoky with just a hint of sweetness. Light this sweet but spicy Limited edition candle and banish the winter blues!" $80 for 200g at Dillards.

I'll take one! A scented desk set from a Perfumer H + Choosing Keeping collaboration: "Perfumer H and Choosing Keeping are proud to announce their collection of scented objects for the desk. Whether locked away late in the study, or simply carving out a moment’s peace at the kitchen table, immerse yourself in creativity this winter with a collaboration designed to transform your writing desk. Notes of turpentine oil and papyrus wood are fused with herbs and spices and set upon a backdrop of dark cedar and cade woods brushed with rose oil." £190 at Perfumer H, where you'll also find each item (candle, 30 incense sticks, scented notebook, 6 scented pencils and 70 ml of scented ink) sold separately. Hat tip to nozknoz!

More toothpaste, really? From Swedish brand Selahatin, my eye is on Of Course I Still Luv You: "Capturing the inherent romantic and intimate essence of Selahatin, Of Course I Still Luv You is a tribute to hope and fidelity. Under a spell of citrusy verbena and bergamot, draped in exotic and mysterious cardamom and a holy union between woody pine and aromatic juniper, a picturesque tale of young innocent love and spring blossoms." Shouldn't your toothpaste be a tribute to hope and fidelity? €22 for 65 ml. (I think Saks had this brand at one time but I'm not sure it's distributed in the US at the moment.)

From Floris, a holiday cracker collection with 10 ml bottles of Honey Oud, Mulberry Fig and Cherry Blossom, $115 at Floris USA. (You can also buy the crackers separately for $38 each, and if you're looking for a bigger gift, there's also a "Perfumer's Collection" with ten 10 ml fragrances in a presentation box for $355.)
