The daily lemming

Floral Street's Spring Bouquet diffuser ("Bringing a burst of sunlight in through your windows and a wild country garden vibe into your space: a fusion of crisp, green floral fusion with pockets of rhubarb, bay and cedarwood") is decent looking and not too spendy: £28 for 100 ml, at John Lewis.

From Juniper Ridge, Douglas Fir & Rosehips tea: "A soft, savory tea that sings with the flavor of clean mountain air and the resonant note of rosehips. Harvested from California’s northern coast, this simple blend dances with sweet fragrance and a spark of tanginess. Serve hot for a restful companion in the cold, or chilled for the perfect refreshment after a long day outside." 20 tea bags for $13 at Juniper Ridge.

If there is traffic on the turnpike today, I will be lemming this badly: Happy Uplifting Balm from Spa Ceylon. "If you've been feeling down in the dumps and are looking for some all-natural soothing, boost your mood with this fast-acting balm. It refreshes and invigorates the senses, promotes vibrant positive energy, and gently lightens your mood." With orange, lemon, rosemary, spearmint; $10 for 10 ml at Smallflower.

After much consideration, I think I could stand to have these in my house. From Etro, the Rajasthan ("...suggests a nomadic and yearning femininity, wild gypsy poetry set in the Maharaja’s cities: like the bright and colourful precious pearls from magical India. Etro’s fragrance is dedicated to an ever-changing and unexpected personality, who is always able to surprise with joy. This is an oriental floral fragrance with pink pepper, lemon, mimosa, rose and amber") and Jacquard ("A tribute to the intricately woven fabric often used by Etro in their garments, the Jacquard Candle is full of fascination and new beginnings whilst remembering the past in an authentic and original way. This fragranced candle is sophisticated and exotic with its notes of bergamot, black pepper, iris, jasmine, sandalwood") candles, 145g each for £60 at Harvey Nicks.

From the Summer 2019 Verbena collection at L'Occitane, Citrus Verbena Refreshing Water Gel, $39 for 150 ml. "Enriched with citrus fruit extracts and organic verbena extract from Provence, this body gel marries hydration and freshness while leaving your skin delicately scented. The mix of the refreshing Verbena citrusy scent with its texture made of microbubbles make it an intensely invigorating gel." Other highlights of this year's collection: Verbena Frappé Body Cream and Verbena Light Hand Cream.
