A shout out to Diptyque Tam Dao for making my recent long car trips less stressful, and another shout out for the elephant design on the bar soap. "This perfumed soap is composed of a vegetable base enriched with sweet almond oil. Its delicate foam reveals the woody and creamy notes of Tam Dao; a memory of the sacred sandalwood forests of Indochina." $30 (ouch!) for 150g at Beautyhabit, where you'll also find the Tam Dao Shower Balm, $42 (ouch again!) for 200 ml.

I've had my eye on Formulary 55 ever since Kevin told me he loved their soaps (and then therabbitsflower chimed in to say she loved them too). Now they've come up with new facial mists to tempt me. Shown is Neroli & Sandalwood ("This potent and powerful facial mist combines pure plant extracts to boost hydration and improve the skin's texture and tone. Our Neroli & Sandalwood mist is best for oily and or combination skin"), and there is also a Rose & Frankincense version for dry skin. My skin is not really oily or dry or combination — I am pretty sure that means I need both? $22 for 60 ml.

What I ought to have in my suitcase: a Verbena sachet from Castelbel. "With a high concentration of perfume, this fragrant sachet is manufactured with Portuguese cork and using a Castelbel exclusive technology that absorbs and releases the aroma in a slow and prolonged way. The satin ribbon is perfect to hang the sachet in the closet. However, it can also be used to fragrance suitcases, drawers or even your car." I can't seem to find them in the US, but they're €9 each on the Castelbel website.

Well well. From Mark Buxton, a Vetiver & Magnolia candle. The (unfortunately, not terribly helpful) description: "The Vetiver & Magnolia candle transports us through fruity notes that mingle with woody facets contrasted by a touch of vetiver." Still, it does appear to be vetiver and magnolia, so it would be worth a shot if you had money burning a hole in your pocket. 190g for €54 at Nose in France.

Partially because I am disappointed in The Body Shop's banana products, (smellwise), I'm curious about Briogeo's Banana + Coconut Superfoods Shampoo & Conditioner Hair Pack. "A shampoo and conditioner duo that harnesses the nutrients of fruits to support healthy-looking hair and a nourished scalp." 369 ml each of the shampoo and conditioner, $48 (rather too spendy unless they're miraculous) at Sephora.
