Jennifer Lopez is celebrating the 5th anniversary of her best-selling Glow by J Lo fragrance with two limited editions. Glow by J Lo Shimmer Limited Edition features the original Glow fragrance but “dries down to a radiant on-skin shimmer”, and also includes a wearable Swarovski crystal charm.

As previously reported, Jennifer Lopez will launch a new on-line reality series, “The Glow After Dark Show”, in support of her latest fragrance, Glow After Dark. After an exhaustive search, five Glow Girls have been selected: Lauren (“…it’s all about glowing from the inside out…”), Sarah (“Let’s go Glow!”), Liz (“A bright smile and loud laugh will light up any room!”), Christine (“I’m a very down to earth person and people love that.”) and Maricela (“Be myself and the Glow comes natural”). The Glow Girls will enjoy a 2 week, all-expense paid trip to New York City, where they will, you know, glow. After dark…
Jennifer Lopez launched Glow After Dark late last year. It is her 7th fragrance, and the 4th in the Glow franchise (following Glow, Miami Glow, and Love at First Glow). The notes feature mandarin, melon, white cherry, passion fruit, jasmine, peony, freesia, rose, orange flower, pink musk, tree moss, blonde woods and patchouli.
Glow After Dark is being advertised with the tag line “wild. sexy. breathless.”, and as a late at night, out partying ’til dawn sort of perfume, rather like Britney Spears’ Midnight Fantasy…

Jennifer Lopez launched Live, her fourth fragrance, last year. Live was developed by perfumer Dominique Ropion, and the notes include lemon, orange, pineapple, redcurrant, peony, violet, caramel, tonka beans, vanilla and sandalwood.
Not surprisingly, Live is a fruity floral — hey, almost all celebrity fragrance releases these days are fruity florals, and despite what I keep reading about how the trends are changing, it sometimes seems like at least 90% of all fragrance releases are fruity florals, and sweet ones at that. It isn’t my favorite category so it doesn’t exactly strike joy in my heart, but if it is yours, I don’t think you have anything to worry about for the near future…
