A Plume of Blooms doesn’t break ground as a beauty product, but as a food topping, it belongs in Jo Malone’s diet. Of the three, Meyer called this one his favorite, comparing the sophisticated yellow-white bouquet of petals—including jasmine, honeysuckle, and ylang-ylang—to shaving truffles on pasta, then recommended buyers try a spritz on a mozzarella tomato salad. “It would be so elegant,” he said. “It uses this incredible jasmine absolute. I don’t think there’s anything like it even in the perfume market.”

Once I’d eaten the perfumed layer

And cocoa spritzed on salted caramel ice cream tasted like a shot of Baileys Irish Cream. Once I’d eaten the perfumed layer, the ice cream tasted like ice cream; a sensation so ephemeral I questioned whether those scented bites even really happened. The experience did make me want to buy more of Salt and Straw’s exceptional ice cream. So I guess, to [food designer Sarah] Masoni’s point, the marketing worked.

I can see this becoming a spring / summer staple: Fox in the Flowerbed Body Oil from Imaginary Authors. "Wearing this floral wonder will amplify the beauty in everything. It’s a versatile scent, doubling as a mood-lifter during the day and bringing an ethereal elegance to nights out. Don't be led astray by the name, there is nothing animalic or off-putting about this scent." $28, but the website doesn't seem to disclose the amount of product you receive — perhaps it's a bargain, perhaps not. Hat tip to somebody and my apologies for forgetting who told me, or commented about it, or ?
