Happy Holidays!

Posted by Robin on 24 December 2025 193 Comments

Happy Holidays! We’ll be back on Friday.

In the meantime, feel free to talk about whatever you like: what perfume you’re wearing today, what you’re cooking (or eating) over the holidays, anything at all.

Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

An offtopic lemming passed on by reader nozknoz: unusual Christmas tree ornaments from Choosing Keeping in Covent Garden. From D'Orsay, the limited edition 18:18 Bois Imaginaire holiday candle: "A woody, aromatic scent imagined by Yann Vasnier for D’ORSAY, evoking an imaginary twilight walk through a pine forest — where bark, sap, and needles release a resinous breath, both raw and delicate, like a secret nature whispers at the edge of night. A tender, almost whispered rendezvous suspended in time, 18:18 Bois Imaginaire captures the hush of winter’s stillness — luminous, contemplative, and quietly enveloping."$130 for 250g at Aedes.
