The daily lemming

I hope this makes it to the US: Crème Mains Monoï (hand cream, silicone free, about €6 for 30 ml) from Yves Rocher. If not, there's always the hand cream that matches the Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Oil (This luxurious hand and nail cream is enhanced with conditioning Shea Butter and omega-rich Macadamia Nut oil that protects, restores moisture and promotes suppleness within the skin. The infusion of exotic Tahitian Monoi oil, blended with Frangipani flowers, soften the cuticles and leave the hands delicately scented while providing long lasting nourishment. Pair this with the popular Frangipani Monoi Body Oil for the perfect exotic experience"; $7.40 for 20 ml at Time To Spa.)

Wild Brooklyn Lavender hand cream from DS & Durga: "Like a slice of Brooklyn, Brooklyn flowering in the early aughts where wild packs of dogs roamed free among savage weeds and anything seemed possible. A moisturizing lavender hand cream made with vitamin C, vitamin E, glycerin, green tea leaf, and hyaluronic acid. Vegan and cruelty free. Travel size, for excellent and transportive moisturizing on the go." $8 for 30 ml (and also available in Big Sur After Rain) at Catbird NYC.

Lovely Hand Balm from Lush: "Your hands take care of so much, it's time you took care of them. Our Lovely Hand Balm is made with fair trade organic aloe vera to nourish your skin, as well as hydrating squalane to lock in all that moisture. Lightly scented with everlasting flower absolute and ylang ylang for a non-greasy, floral finish. Who needs a bouquet of flowers when your hands smell like a garden?" $22 for 100g at Lush USA.

New stuff from Lush UK that I hope gets to the US soon: Sweet Wild Orange Hand Balm ("Sublimely orange scented, refresh and cool with this hard working hand cream. Suitable for everyone, the glycerine and aloe formula will moisturise and repair the skin"; £12 for 100g) and Posh Chocolate Body Wash ("This deliciously self-centred chocolate body wash is packed with aloe vera and glycerine to soften and hydrate delicate skin"; £8 for 100g or £15 for 225g). Both products come in tubs. Also new-ish for the holiday season, Jolly Shower Gel ("Imagine taking all the smells of Christmas—the citrus, the spice and everything nice—and turning it into a shower gel. A Jolly thought, isn't it?") and Jilted Elf Body Spray ("Keep Jilted Elf on a shelf or somewhere close by when you need a quick spritz of its energizing grapefruit, cinnamon and ginger aroma").

Another scented hand cream option: Fig Tea from Parfums de Nicolaï. "For hydrated and delicately perfumed hands. To be used several times a day. Made with shea butter and coconut oil. Fig-Tea hand cream contains at least 96% natural ingredients." €32 for 30 ml, so more expensive per ml than the Frédéric Malle Iris Hand Cream but cheaper than Hermès Complete Hand Care. (The Fig Tea is also available in a 250 ml body lotion, €56.)
