"Warm sand, coconut milk, and ylang-ylang fragrance" is what interested me in Klorane's Ylang Ylang Protective Oil. The rest of it sounds useful too though: "This lightweight multi-protective oil with Ylang-Ylang wax that shields hair against the drying and damaging effects of UV rays, salt, sand, and chlorine. It deeply nourishes the hair and protects against color fade." $18 for 100 ml at Smallflower. Do comment if you've tried it!
Eau de Sens, from Diptyque, now comes in a hair mist: "Light and delicate, this hair mist leaves an invisible yet intensely scented veil of fragrance on the hair. Enriched with nourishing camellia oil, it fortifies, beautifies, and perfumes the hair. This new incarnation of Eau des Sens is bright and zesty, enhanced by fresh, spicy notes. After washing and conditioning your hair, finish with a cold water rinse to strengthen the capillary fibers. This will also increase hair mist longevity." $48 for 30 ml at Diptyque, where you'll also find a new Eau de Sens Cleansing Hand & Body Gel ($40 for 200 ml).
It's been eons since I've tried a product from Herbal Essences. This looks like a contender: "Herbal Essences Moisture Rosemary & Herbs Foam Conditioner is specifically crafted with naturally inspired ingredients to moisturize hair without leaving strands weighed down [...] Whipped with our signature bio:renew blend of antioxidants, aloe and sea kelp." Also available in Blue Ginger,White Grapefruit & Mosa Mint, and Cucumber & Green Tea, about $6.99 each.
From Aveda, hair mists in Mihana ("inspired by the forests and gardens of Japan...with jasmine, certified organic mandarin, clove and other pure flower and plant essences"), Marassona ("inspired by Brazil's magical coastline....with certified organic neroli, lemon and ylang ylang and other pure flower and plant essences") and Alanara ("inspired by the ancient Fertile Crescent, where spices and blossoms collide...with sandalwood, certified organic rose, oud, olibanum and other pure flower and plant essences"). $35 each for 75 ml.
An even more throwaway lemming than usual — the box is cute, but I don't even want the box, it's just cute.
