I went with Prada Infusion d’Iris Absolue. I’m wearing it over the remnants of last night’s Aftelier Ancient Resins, which I put on as soon as I heard that Leonard Cohen had left us.

It’s Trick Friday! Our community project for today: wear a fragrance that smells entirely different from its name (or feel free to interpret “trick” in some other way). Hat tip to Happy888cat for the idea!

I’m wearing Lolita Lempicka Sweet. The trick: despite the name (and the visuals), it smells more like a chocolate-cherry Lipsmacker than a calorific dessert, and in comparison with your average modern gourmand, it’s a lightweight.

I’m wearing Etro Shaal Nur, from Erin’s Top 10 of Fall 2009. Erin says “…Shaal Nur smells both exotic and comfortable, and despite supposedly being named after an Indian princess, it feels unisex and very, very French.” Yep!
