Friday scent of the day 4/20

Posted by Robin on 20 April 2018 375 Comments

Happy Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop Friday! Our community project for today: wear a perfume from the most saturated category in your collection. Thanks to Coin-op for the suggestion!

What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.

I’m in Hermès Vetiver Tonka, which ticks three boxes: my over saturated vetiver collection, my most collected brand, and most collected perfumer…

Friday scent of the day 4/13

Happy Monopoly Friday! Our community project for today: You’ve drawn the Community Chest Card “You Inherit $100”. Wear the fragrance (presumably from a sample or decant, but it could be from a bottle if you’re planning to replace or stockpile) that you’ll buy with your windfall. It has to be something you can actually buy for $100 or less!

What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.

Friday scent of the day 4/6

TGIF and then some. It’s also New Beer’s Eve, and Tartan Day. Our community project for today: wear one of your “top 10 of spring” fragrances (unless it’s fall where you are, in which case wear one of your “top 10 of fall” scents).

What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.

It is not even slightly spring where I am, and I am also out of town, again, with no perfume. And Jessica will be along later today with her Top 10 of Spring 2018…

Happy Friday and happy Pencil Day. Our community project for today: honor Women’s History Month by wearing a fragrance by perfumer Germaine Cellier or Josephine Catapano, if you have one. If you don’t, wear a fragrance by any female perfumer.

What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.

I’m in Robert Piguet Fracas, by Germaine Cellier. I’m wearing two vintage versions, one on each arm…

Friday scent of the day 3/23

Posted by Robin on 23 March 2018 304 Comments

Friday! Our community project for today: we’re celebrating this week’s equinox by choosing a fragrance that evokes one of Pantone’s colors from the Spring 2018 report for New York.

What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.

I’m in The Different Company De Bachmakov to match Almost Mauve (and the weather)…
