I went with Thierry Mugler Oriental Express, from Erin’s Top 10 list. It’s perfect for the almost-but-not-quite-spring weather we’re having here today.

Happy Earth Day! Unfortunately, Prince has left the premises. We’re soldiering on with our community project for today: “What’s in a name, part 2”, that is, “misnamed” fragrances. You can interpret that howsoever you wish. The project was suggested by Dilana, who noted that Jardins d’Écrivains Orlando smelled like traditional honey cake instead of a modernist multi-gender novel or hero/heroine. I looked all over for my (misnamed!) Prince 3121, but no joy. So I’m in Hermès Vanille Galante, which is lilies floating in salty water…
