I am fond of my Marvis Black Forest toothpaste, but it does have fluoride so I don't use it often (I get enough fluoride already). Plus, it's spendy. Here's a budget, fluoride-free alternative: Dr. Sheffield’s Certified Natural Toothpaste in Chocolate. It says "For Kids" right on the label, but I am not so easily deterred. Reviews on Amazon (where you can find two 119g tubes for $12) range from "like chocolate cake batter...amazing" and "like brushing your teeth with chocolate mousse" right straight through to "gross". I am planning to investigate once I finish off a few others.

Aha, it's been awhile but here is a new toothpaste lemming. From Boka, Coco Ginger: "Coco Ginger has a subtle coconut flavor paired with spicy ginger with notes of chamomile flower. Like Ela Mint paste, this is an extension of the first natural paste powered by modern science. It trades fluoride for nano-hydroxyapatite (n-Ha), an evolution in dentistry that’s been a gold standard in Japan for over 40 years. n-Ha makes up the primary foundation of teeth and bones, meaning it’s naturally restorative and helpful in reducing sensitivity. Plus, it’s 100% biocompatible and non-toxic. The flavor is unlike any toothpaste ever created." $12 at Beautyhabit.
