Rotterdam, The Fragrance

Rotterdam perfumeRotterdam, a (not new) fragrance created by architects Herzog & de Meuron, is now available at pop-up store the Wrong Store at 259 Tenth Ave in Chelsea:

Mandy Aftel perfume exhibit & other fragrance news

The 3A Gallery in San Francisco will be hosting a new exhibit by Mandy Aftel of Aftelier Perfumes called Constructing Perfume, "an interactive exhibit of perfumes and their relationship to space and color". The exhibit opens on December 1st and runs through the 23rd; 3A is located at 101 South Park. For details call 415-543-3347.

Columnist Vince Staten points out that there is nothing new about using body sprays like Axe and Tag to attract girls; that was also the main purpose behind fragrances like Canoe, English Leather, Hai Karate, and British Sterling (link to article no longer working, sorry!).
