Jo Malone's latest Rose Collection (I think the last they did was for 2022?) for Valentine's Day features special editions of Rose Blush (from 2021), Rose Amber (from 2015, originally called Tudor Rose & Amber) and Rose & Magnolia (from 2019). All in 50 ml, plus there will also be a trio of travel sprays and a Rose Blush candle. Look for them all in January.
Pasha de Cartier Parfum in a refillable limited edition collector bottle: "Pasha de Cartier Parfum is magnified in a limited-edition bottle, which reinterprets the signature deep blue of the cabochon that adorns the Pasha de Cartier watchmaking icon. Inspired by the Cartier archives, silver arabesque motifs introduce a visual game of contrasts and play with reflections of light." $138 for 100 ml at Cartier USA.
Two more bee bottle extravanganzas from Guerlain, both numbered limited editions done with Turkish jewellery designer Begüm Khan and featuring the Imagine fragrance. At left, a 1.5L bottle, hand-painted in fine 24-carat gold, and featuring a crystal-set beetle. 40 were made, no idea of the price. At right, the 125 ml bottle with "an imperial bee at the heart of a radiant golden flower, immortalising the magic of suspended time", $1000 (including a 30 ml spray as well), 4,515 were made.
If you were thinking of buying the large bottle of Diptyque L'Eau Papier, the holiday limited edition collector bottle is the exact same price as the "regular". "The limited-edition bottle has been revised in gold, with a transparent view that affords a glimpse of the nuances created by ink on paper. This light and fresh white-musk fragrance inspired by paper is composed of notes of steamed rice, luminous mimosa and a deep blonde wood accord that wears like a second skin." $175 for 100 ml at Nordstrom.
A lemming for fans of Lancôme La Vie Est Belle: the holiday limited edition for 2023 (you can see 2022 here, and 2021 here). I have not seen it in the US yet, but you can find it at Breuninger in Germany or at Lancôme in France, €100 for 50 ml.
