Prada Eau de Parfum TendrePrada has launched Prada Eau de Parfum Tendre:

As its name suggests, this latest re-interpretation of the signature Prada fragrance is a lighter version of the original, and particularly suited to Asian markets….The juice is a new combination of the original’s four key ingredients: patchouli leaves, sandalwood, labdanum and benzoic, “re-mixed” by IFF’s Carlos Benaim and Clement Gavarry. Lucky Number 6 fragrance for womenLucky Number 6 fragrances for men and women will launch this fall from Lucky Brand Jeans, a Liz Claiborne company.

Fragrance of the day: Matthew Williamson

Matthew Williamson fragrance

Matthew Williamson is the first global scent release from the UK designer of the same name. It follows Incense, which was created in conjunction with Lyn Harris of Miller Harris and released on a smaller scale as a limited edition in 2002. Incense was a big hit with perfume fans on the many fragrance forums, but it is sadly unobtainable now.

His new fragrance was inspired by an exotic beach…

Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely ~ perfume review

Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely fragrance

Lovely is Sarah Jessica Parker’s first fragrance release. It was created by perfumers Laurent Le Guernec and Clement Gavarry. It is due for official launch this August, but is already available at Nordstroms, who have exclusive rights until September. Lovely is described as “a “silky white amber” and has notes of mandarin, bergamot, rosewood, lavender, apple martini, patchouli, paper whites, orchid, cedar, white amber, musk and woods.

The word on the fragrance forums is that Lovely is very similar to Narciso Rodriguez For Her, which I found hard to believe given the list of notes. After trying it, I am not so surprised, but I can’t say just how close they are because I only know what Narciso Rodriguez smells like from reading reviews — one whiff and my throat and nose seize up instantly. An overdose of aldehydes? Something similar happens to me after a long day of perfume shopping, but Narciso is the only fragrance that can do it single handedly.

Chopard Wish Pink Diamond, Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely & Chanel Allure Sensuelle ~ new fragrances

Chopard Wish Pink Diamond perfumeChopard's latest, Wish Pink Diamond will be launched in Asian duty free this summer:

The juice, a fresh floral-fruity combination, was composed by Alexandra Jouet of Takasago. It opens on top notes of tangerine, neroli and pear, leading to a heart of rose, acanthus, apricot and freesia. The base features amber, sandalwood and musk. (via MoodieReport)

Chopard Wish Pink Diamond is an Eau de Toilette, and is available in 30 and 50 ml.

Sarah Jessica Parker's new fragrance will launch in August at Nordstrom, then move to other stores in September…
