A Valentine for the Grateful Dead fan, from Vosges: the Dancing Bears in Space Bar (dried strawberries and raspberries + cocoa butter + naturally dyed confetti sprinkles) and/or the Raw Honey Smoked Almond Bar (raw honey wildflower nectar + smoked almonds + buttery toffee + 100% cacao), $6 each from Vosges. (There's also a Grateful Dead Truffle Collection for $60).

From Raaka in NYC, the Limited Batch Library Box: "Our spring limited batch library box presents the vibrant flavors of fruits and flowers, featuring two sets of our New York Botanical Garden collaboration bars and two Strawberry Swirl bars. We are so proud to partner with NYBG to bring you three single origin dark chocolate bars with flower power: the fruity and lush Hibiscus Cinnamon, the deliciously delicate Jasmine Mint, and our ambrosial floral classic, Rose Cardamom. We've paired this with our seasonal Strawberry Swirl." Part of the proceeds go to NYBG, $51 at Raaka Chocolate.

In case you need some non-perfume Valentine's ideas, here is Steven Smith's limited edition Lover's Leap Tea ("high grown Ceylon tea from Lover’s Leap Tea Estate, coupled with pink rose petals, hand-sorted chamomile petals and subtle citrus flavors") and the matching chocolate bar from Ritual ("...marriage of our 70% dark Madagascar and Peru chocolate with Lover’s Leap black tea blend from Smith Teamaker"). You can find the bar for $14 at Ritual, or in a gift set at Steven Smith, with a chocolate bar and 3 kinds of tea (Lover's Leap, Black Lavender and Big Hibiscus), $49.

You probably already have too much perfume, but too much chocolate? Nah. From Vosges: "The wait is over. Our limited edition Chocolate Calendar of Advent has arrived. An homage to Place des Vosges, each brick has been hand-drawn and placed to reveal the magical wonder of Paris during the holiday season. Prepare for daily enchantment as you count down the days of December in our limited-edition advent box. Behind every numbered door an array of ‘haut-chocolat’ awaits you, caramels, mini exotic chocolate bars, and even happy hedgehogs and magical gnomes! The perfect advent gift for a passionate foodie – self-gifting encouraged." Pre-order at Vosges now for $145. (Hat tip / Enabler Pin / Blame goes to Jalapeno!)

More chocolate for Valentine's Day...Rose in the Violet Dress ("filled with a rose and violet fondant") and She Dreams in Marmalade (dark chocolate with orange pieces). Not shown is another I would not mind eating, Lady Antoine's Garden (dark chocolate with elderflower), £6 - 7 each at Fortnum & Mason.
