Courteney Cox will be the face of Avon's Spotlight fragrance for women, due to launch in April. The new scent for women hopes to “capture the growing excitement of the world's fascination with celebrity and notions of fame”; the tagline will be “Step Into It”. According to Cox…

Sean John I Am King ~ fragrance review

Posted by Kevin on 3 December 2008 33 Comments

Sean John I am King cologne advert

Men: Sean Combs thinks we’re all descended from kings and we can become kings of something if we constantly believe “I AM KING! I AM KING!” (presumably while wearing I Am King cologne). I’ve thought of myself as a king since birth but, with time running out, I have no kingdom, not even a measly duchy, to call my own.

I’ve heard Sean Combs’ music, seen his clothing line and even watched his reality show on TV for a few minutes here and there. Combs, like Donald Trump, is always talking about money and seems to believe his endorsement of any product gives that product “class.” Unlike Donald Trump who has participated in funny send-ups of his own image, Combs is serious — about himself and his “impact” on “culture.” For me, watching Combs for any length of time is not fun — it’s tedious; there’s nothing effortless and graceful about trying so hard to impress and dominate. Will you answer the calling?

Posted by Robin on 26 November 2008 38 Comments

Sean Combs of Sean John in a new promo spot for the recently released I Am King fragrance. This one is around 5 minutes long; there is a longer version here where Diddy talks to the camera and explains that the film is his audition for the James Bond role, and dedicates the I Am King fragrance to Martin Luther King, Barack Obama and Muhammad Ali. That one is over 6 minutes.

Found via Techcrunch, where blogger Michael Arrington declared: "This is, officially, the worst thing I have ever seen on the Internet."

Update: if that wasn't enough Diddy for you, check out his new billboard in Times Square.
