The daily lemming

I'm not even done lemming Diptyque's holiday collection, but here is the spiffy new Dancing Ovals collection, with limited edition decorated candles in Figuier (shown), Roses, Tubereuse and Baies. $74 each for 190g. (In some markets, you can also find the smaller 70g candles, and a holder for 190g candles.)

You either want one, or, like me, you really don't, but either way it's a bargain at $13. The Oreo Cookie candle: "Get a whiff of Milk's Favorite Cookie! If you've ever wanted to trick your guests into thinking they just stumbled onto a tour of the Oreo factory, our deliciously-scented Oreo candle is exactly what you need! We suggest accompanying the scent with a few sleeves of Oreos for that full 360 experience." At the Oreo Gift Store, where what I really want (but need like a hole in the head) is the "OREO Cookie Embossed Faux Leather Tote", $30. (found via Thrillist)

A double not-happening for me, since they are in the UK plus they are sold out, but the Mandarin candles from Esh ("Our flagship product! A set of two scented mandarin orange style candles made with a blend of 100% soy wax, recycled cotton wicks, natural mica colourants and cold-pressed essential oils including Mandarin, & Tangerine.") look highly lemmable, and they also make scented candles in Meyer Lemon and Lime. £17 for a set of two at Esh. (via Financial Times; hat tip to Kevin!)

Any Emeraude fans need a candle? The Holiday edition from Harlem Candle Co: "The Holiday candle is inspired by [Billie Holiday's] favorite perfume, Emeraude, an aromatic green blend of fresh Winter spruce, pine needles, mint-infused eucalyptus, fir balsam and spicy cedarwood developing into a feminine heart of ethereal blue hyacinth. Strong and full-bodied, yet fragile and dreamy… just like Lady Day. Sets a beautiful mood for holiday time and all year round." $45 for 340g at Harlem Candle Co, where you'll also find the same scent in a "Night-Club Map of Harlem" collector edition for $50. Hat tip to Sara!

Two of the candles from the new-ish collection by Emma Shipley, best known for her fabrics and wallpapers: Amazon (left; "The bespoke scent was created to evoke the jungle dreamworld behind the Amazon design, with juicy notes of ripening fig set on a fresh yet woody base of cedarwood creating a playful melange of aromas.") and Caspian (right; "The bespoke scent was created to evoke the fairytale story behind the Caspian design, with notes of Madagascar Vanilla Pods, complemented by resinous and warm Sandalwood.") £95 each for 650g at Emma Shipley, where you'll also find more designs and infusers.
