At my local TJ Maxx this week: Escada Island Kiss, Escada Sentiment, Gucci Rush Summer, Ralph Lauren Glamourous, purse sprays of Guerlain Champs Elysees and Samsara EdT, and 2 boxes of Gabriele Strehle Strenesse -- both empty.
TJ Maxx report: J Lo Glow & more
At my local TJ Maxx this week: J Lo Glow, Diesel Green, Diesel Zero Plus Masculine & Feminine, Guerlain Samsara EdT, Yves Saint Laurent Nu, Carolina Herrera Carolina, Anna Sui Dolly Girl, Paula Dorf Zita, and Gres Cabaret. Also a few Imaginez candles. I was tempted by the pretty Zita bottle, but left with nothing.
The new L'Artisan boutique in Soho, New York City
I managed very little perfume shopping in New York this past weekend, but I did get in a quick trip to the new L'Artisan boutique in Soho. It is a very small shop — 10 people would just about fill it to capacity. The fragrance testers are displayed on a bar running the length of the shop; shelves on the walls hold the room fragrances and sachets.
They do have the new La Chasse Extreme, and they will have the 2005 summer limited edition, Extrait de Songe, in April. Emmanuelle, the sales agent, describes it as “cottony”…
More L'Artisan stores coming soon
In addition to the Soho store opening next week, L'Artisan is planning to open 12 new stores over the next year. Look for a store in Montreal by April 1, to be followed by two stores in London, and possibly Brussels, Munich, and Madrid. (via cosmeticnews)
New L'Artisan store in NYC
As mentioned last week, L'Artisan will be opening a new store in New York City. The opening is now scheduled for Monday, and the store will be located at at 68 Thompson Street in SoHo. More US stores are planned. (via Women's Wear Daily).
