Lancome opened its first boutique and spa in Manhattan yesterday, on Columbus Avenue in the Upper West Side:
Traffic literally stopped thanks to 10 beautiful New York men, donning traditional French berets, who lured neighborhood residents into the new boutique with dashing smiles, pink roses and deluxe samples of Lancome’s hottest products…
TJ Maxx fragrance report
It has been ages since I nosed around the perfume shelves at my local TJ Maxx. Like most TJ Maxx stores, they have recently moved the fragrances right up by the cash registers, presumably in order to discourage widescale opening & testing of the fragrances. It hasn't worked.
Here is what I found yesterday: Azzaro Pure Vetiver; Cacharel Promesse; Christian Dior Eau Sauvage deodorant spray; Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Intense Eau de Parfum, Red Door Revealed, and Spiced Green Tea body lotion; Elizabeth Taylor — just about all of them (Gardenia, White Diamonds, etc) and lots of gift sets; Escada Sentiment; Ghost Deep Night sets; Guerlain Shalimar Light; Jil Sander no. 4; J Lo Glow & Still shower gels; Liz Claiborne Spark Seduction; Molton Brown Air of Joy; Nautica Latitude Longitude; Oscar de la Renta So de la Renta; and Trussardi Skin. There were a few Pecksniff's products over in the bath & body section.

Luckyscent has opened a new brick 'n mortar fragrance store, Scent Bar, at 8327 Beverly Blvd in Los Angeles. Holiday hours are Mon-Sat 11:30-7, and Sun 12-5.
New at sephora (France): L'Eau Extrême L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme.

At my local TJ Maxx this weekend: Cacharel Noa Fleur, Yves Saint Laurent Nu, Floris Cefiro travel sets, Lancome Attraction Eau de Parfum and Body Lotion, Guerlain Shalimar Light, Christian Dior I Love Dior and Chris 1947, and lots of Lulu Guinness stuff (Eau de Parfum purse sprays, hand cream, body cream, and shower gel).
