The daily lemming

Kitty cats! I know they are scented only because at least one review says the black one has a better fragrance. Avon Pretty Purrfect Bubble Bath: "Meow, what fun! These vintage kitty collectibles give new meaning to ‘cool cat lady.’" $20 each for about 700 ml.

Another tempting bath item from Senteurs d'Orient: "Blended with sun-evaporated Mediterranean sea salt, this 'Jasmine of Arabia' bath soak is infused with nourishing essential oils and minerals like Calcium and Magnesium. Each one comes wrapped in a perfectly portioned gauze pouch." $35 for nine 35g pouches at Net-A-Porter.

Back for a limited time, this fairy tale bath fizzer envelops you in a soothing blend of soy milk, orange oil and rose absolute create a crisp, fresh scent to transport you to a forest fantasia. Little bath things from Mer-Sea & Co at Anthropologie, both in Orange Honey ("Amber, vanilla, and wood are topped with orange and lemon, evocative of an afternoon stroll through the orange groves") — at left, Bath Soak ($10 for 170g), at right, Foaming Body Scrub ($12 for 148ml).

I don't use bath bombs, and I'm not going to start, but I love looking at them. Lush dropped a bunch of new ones this week (although some of what I'm showing above is old). Tops on my list: Bom Perignon (above left, citrus), Lucky Cat (center, jasmine absolute, neroli & ylang ylang), Blackberry (top right, berry & olibanum), Rose Bombshell Egg (bottom left) and Hi Ho Silver (bottom right, citrus & olibanum). Also worth a peek, Fairy Jasmine, which sounds like Silky Underwear (not shown, jasmine, vetiver & ylang ylang).
