A spot for Atelier Cologne's holiday 2021 collection.
The daily lemming

Atelier Cologne's holiday 2021 collection features the work of artist Daria Hlazatova. Shown is the limited edition of Clémentine California (100 ml, $142), and there's also a candle in the same design, in Bois Montmartre ("the distinct and inspiring atmosphere of Paris with effervescent notes of petitgrain and pink pepper to brighten the cedarwood base"; 180g for $62), both at Sephora. On the Atelier Cologne website you'll find more goodies, including a candle carousel ($42).
Something that you took for granted
We really got to see what it was like not to smell at all, and it was probably one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever experienced. Food doesn’t taste like anything, so you have to rely on the texture of the food for pleasure. You realize how lucky you are when it comes back little by little. When you pick up some notes, you’re like, ‘Oh my God, I can smell pepper!’—you get to enjoy something that you took for granted.

Two Lunar New Year collector editions, either of which would work fine for Christmas too: at left, Lunar New Year Lazy Sunday Morning from Maison Margiela, 100 ml for $130, and at right, Lunar New Year Love Osmanthus Absolue Pure Perfume from Atelier Cologne, $140 for 100 ml. Both are at Sephora.
