Aramis was established by Estee Lauder in 1964 — it was Lauder's first offshoot — as a prestige men's grooming and fragrance line. The Aramis division is also the parent company of Tommy Hilfiger fragrances.

Well-known fragrances include Aramis (1964), Devin (1977), New West (1988) and Havana (1994). In 2003, Aramis introduced Aramis Life, a fragrance "inspired by tennis legend Andre Agassi"; in 2006, his wife Steffi Graf joined him in fronting Aramis Always.

Aramis Gentleman's Collection

In 2009, Aramis repackaged and relaunched a number of their older fragrances under the name Aramis Gentleman's Collection. These included Aramis 900 (1974), Devin, JHL (1981), Tuscany Per Uomo (1984), New West for Him (1988), Havana, Aramis Life and Aramis Always for Him.
