It’s Hump Day and National Vanilla Ice Cream Day, plus Raymond Chandler’s birthday. RIP Ozzy Osbourne. What fragrance are you wearing?

Posted by Robin on 22 July 2025 124 Comments

It’s Tuesday, National Mango Day and National Hammock Day. Birthdays: Edward Hopper, Alexander Calder, Tom Robbins, Oscar de la Renta, S. E. Hinton. RIP Malcolm-Jamal Warner. What fragrance are you wearing?

I’m wearing Diptyque Philosykos, which features in the Cormoran Strike novel Troubled Blood by Robert Galbraith aka JK Rowling (I learned this on Reddit, having long since forgotten learning it while reading the book). Tea at the moment is Cascadia Breakfast from The Jasmine Pearl Tea Co.

Reminder: 7/25 will be Mystery & Crime Friday…
